We work quite often with a commercial developer in London who regularly seek out unique buildings to create luxurious leasable office spaces. studioHAVN were appointed as the Interior Designers for one such building in the historically significant neighbourhood of St James’s on the even more renowned Pall Mall.
The scope of work for this particular project was focused primarily on the public areas, including the Entrance Lobby, Lift Lobbies on all five floors as well as a 65 sq m Atrium space, which includes several seating areas, a Library and Coffee Bar. The Client wanted the space to evoke timeless luxury and comfort, similar to the private members clubs that are predominant throughout the area. Specific emphasis was on material, colour and texture to make the space appear welcoming and comfortable, achieved through reclaimed timbers, rich parquet flooring, muted palettes and sumptuous fabrics such as velvets and leathers, along with worn rugs and brass lighting.
