Marlborough Gate is a stunning Grade II listed terrace block overlooking Kensington Gardens in Hyde Park. Originally constructed between 1865- 1870, the block is a fine example of late 19th century ornate building with Neo Classical detailing. It was originally a single family dwelling, then converted to a bank in 1914 and finally to five separate flats in the 1930’s. We were brought on board by the building owners to both reconfigure/ refurbish and restore each of the flats, whilst simultaneously bringing them up to modern standards. In addition, we restored the communal areas to their original grandeur.
